Windows of Wisdom
Your Creator
Bill Redfield is a Wisdom Mentor, Clinical Social Worker, and Episcopal Priest who focuses on creating community to deepen spiritual growth and transformation. Through programs and practices he has developed, he seeks to deepen experiential wisdom.
Journey Description
This program journey, “Windows of Wisdom” will bring us to a fuller understanding of Wisdom as an active force in our lives. It will serve both as an introduction to anyone who is relatively new to Wisdom and its transformation and as well as a review for those who have been on this path for some time.
In this journey I continue to plow the field of Wisdom’s transformation. Not only will we continue to address such questions as, “what does this transformation look like?” and “how specifically do I more fully and deeply live into it?”—but also, “how can I assist and support others in their own Wisdom transformation?” More than adding to the content of information (which would need to be run through the intellectual mind), we will be more concerned with acknowledging what participants already deeply know and integrating this more thoroughly in order to more intentionally live out of these realities.
These ten recordings—each about 25 minutes—build on each other in a progressive manner and are best received sequentially.

Getting Oriented
Wisdom is not a series of theological concepts or tenets that can simply be stated by a teacher or written in a book. That would mean that they would lie flat and lifeless on a page. Wisdom, instead, is a living understanding of the dynamics and meanings of life that operates as a living vibrational reality among and between living beings.
Getting Our Bearings
How you travel will influence where you get to…
The means desire to be consistent with the ends…
It’s not just the “what”; it’s also the “how…”
Process will always influence content….
The Context And Expression Of Wisdom
“Windows of Wisdom” (presuming instead that Wisdom is a force with purpose and agency), Wisdom to me is more a verb than a noun. Wisdom is more an active “Who” than a theoretical “what.”
Triangles And Resonation
What we are about in the Wisdom transformation is not knowing more, especially in terms of informational content, but knowing with more of us. That is, we must include the heart center and the moving center.
Communication With The Divine
It is important to better understand and facilitate our communication and interaction with the divine.
LIfe And Death on this Earth
“Dying before we die” is a useful way of understanding the path to a deeper and more meaningful life by loosening our grasp of the strategies and insistences of the smaller self. But “dying before we die” must ultimately be put alongside a comprehensive understanding of just how we might considerately and lovingly depart from this physical life in the material realm.
A Wisdom Way Of Dying
We are at an even greater disadvantage, for our culture lacks anything that even approaches an initiatory rite of passage through our dying and into our death.
Love And Grief
A deeper understanding of grief appreciates the connection between grief and love and between grief and aliveness. When we can come to appreciate this truth—that is, that love and grief are connected and that we only grieve what we love that has been lost—then we can begin to see that grief is holy and need not be “gotten over.” Indeed, grief becomes another window through which Wisdom is seeing and tracking us.
Assisting The Wisdom Transformation
When we take the risk of being fully present in our wholeness, the person we are with has the opportunity to see their own wholeness and their own fullness reflected back to them from our eyes.
Responding To Your Calling
Because each of us has been born as a distinctive expression and instantiation of the divine, we articulate something essential to the world when we grow into the fullness and completeness of truly being ourselves.
