Our built-in eReader lets you customise how a book appears on your screen, search its contents, save your place and highlight passages that interest you.

You can enjoy a book in your preferred reading style without needing a separate ebook application.

The eReader opens automatically when you click on a track with the text icon.

Some books have a mix of audio, text and video.

Some books and individual chapters are completely free. Others are available through a subscription.

Creators choose which material to share freely, so you can explore selected books and journeys before deciding whether to subscribe.

Your subscription is shared proportionately between creators and helps to keep them creating.

And bring 10 subscribers along and you cover your subscription.

Some Creators provide narrated versions of their books, allowing you to experience the same work through audio.

Journeys can also contain video introductions, interviews and companion experiences, providing different ways to engage with the material.

The available formats depend on what each Creator has published.

A traditional ebook is usually a finished publication.

A Living Book can be much more.

An author might release chapters progressively, add their own narration, share behind-the-scenes videos, include additional illustrations or invite readers into discussions about the work.

Some Living Books will remain simple text publications. Others may continue to evolve as their Creators add new material.

The important difference is that the book can become the beginning of an ongoing creative relationship, rather than the end of the publishing process.

Just click the heart icon on such books to be notified when new updates are available.
