Journey Description
Korascaping is a guided meditative pilgrimage — a word drawn from Kora, the Tibetan practice of sacred circumambulation, and Cor, the Latin root for heart, reflecting the belief that it takes a full heart to walk a sacred path. In the variety of practices, teachers lead participants on journeys by the four cardinal directions, each threshold carrying its own medicine in inner knowing, and the soul's compass. Woven through these walks are symbolic objects — seashells, seeds, prayer pillows, pine cones — each one an invitation to pause, listen, and reckon honestly with what a life holds. Drawing from contemplative traditions across Buddhism, Sufism, and earth-based wisdom, Korascaping asks nothing more of the walker than presence — and offers in return a glimpse into the center of the circle, into what each person holds most sacred.
