Journey Description
There was something extraordinary about autumn in the Midwest. The air grew still and crisp, the light softened, and the trees surrendered their colors to the wind. Everywhere, the world seemed to be preparing for a long silence.
And yet, there was nothing empty about that season. Beneath the rustling leaves and lengthening shadows, something quietly remarkable was taking place.
As a child, I wondered whether the leaves carried memories of the seasons they had witnessed—the passing clouds, the summer rains, the conversations beneath their branches. And when they finally released their hold, whether something of those memories returned with them to the earth.
I still like to imagine that they did.
This music is an invitation to linger in that gentle mystery, where change is not simply an ending, and even the smallest things may have stories to tell.
