Journey Description

Welcome to this four-day sound and drawing journey.

Together, we will explore a simple yet powerful way of creating more calm, clarity, and presence in everyday life using tools you already have: a pencil, a piece of paper, your senses, and a few quiet moments for yourself.

This journey weaves together movement, sound, and image through the kinesthetic, auditory, and visual senses. By engaging all three, you invite the mind to settle, the body to soften, and the inner world to express itself without needing words.

Each day, find a comfortable place where you can be undisturbed for a few minutes. Let this be your time. A small act of choosing yourself.

As you listen to my piano painting, place your pencil on the paper and allow it to move freely. There is no right way and no wrong way. No art skills are required.

Simply follow the music.

Let the pencil travel across the page in one continuous movement. When the movement feels complete, gently lift the pencil.

Pause.

Take a breath.

Notice what you feel.

What changed?

What wanted to be expressed?

What happens when you stop trying to control the line and allow it to lead the way?

Welcome to the journey.

Day One: The First Line Arriving Here

Today is not about drawing.

It is about arriving.

Take a sheet of paper and a pencil. Put the world aside for a few minutes and give yourself permission to simply be.

As the piano begins, place your pencil on the paper and allow it to move without planning, correcting, or judging.

One line.

One breath.

One moment.

When the movement feels complete, lift your pencil.

Notice how your body feels.

Notice your breathing.

Notice the difference between before and after.

Day Two: The Moving Mind Drawing Out the Noise

Our minds collect thoughts, worries, plans, conversations, and unfinished stories.

Today, allow the pencil to carry some of that weight.

As you listen, let your hand move freely across the page. If the line becomes fast, let it be fast. If it becomes slow, let it be slow.

There is nothing to create.

Nothing to achieve.

Simply allow the movement to happen.

When you finish, look at the page with curiosity.

What did the line want to say?

Day Three: Listening to the Line Following What Wants to Emerge

Today we invite curiosity.

Begin as before, allowing the music to guide the movement.

This time, when the line feels complete, spend a few moments looking at it.

Turn the page if you wish.

Move it closer.

Move it farther away.

Do you see a shape?

A landscape?

A creature?

A symbol?

A memory?

Allow your imagination to play.

Sometimes the soul speaks in images long before it speaks in words.

Day Four: The Gift of the Line Bringing Yourself Home

Today is about gathering what you have discovered.

Listen to the music.

Allow the line to move.

Trust your hand.

Trust the process.

Trust yourself.

When you are finished, place your hand over your drawing and take a slow breath.

This line was made by you.

This moment was given to you by you.

The line is not the artwork.

You are.

The line was simply the path that brought you back to yourself.

Closing Reflection

Keep your drawings.

Return to this practice whenever life becomes noisy, overwhelming, confusing, or heavy.

A pencil.

A piece of paper.

A few minutes.

Sometimes that is all it takes to hear yourself again.

Follow the line. It knows the way. ✨🖌️🎹🌙
