A Beginner's Guide to Channeling

Channelling is not just about speaking to the dear departed and getting in touch with Aunt Maud, Uncle Brian or your great-great grandmother. I prefer to use this ability to tap into unlimited creativity and universal wisdom. We do this by getting our conscious mind out of the way.

This mindfully short course is primarily designed for writers but the techniques shared here can be used for any artistic endeavour. For example, you can get the words for a song, or a meditation, or the concept for a new business idea. If you are a sculptor, artist, choreographer or film director, you will benefit from the guided visualisations in this course.

When we start to channel, it can be overwhelming at first as we embrace the enormity of being able to tap into the Universal Mind. The associated fears sometimes can get stored around various chakra points. This short visualisation will help clear your chakra points and set you up nicely for the flow of inspiration that you will stir up over the coming lessons. Come back to this visualisation at any point during the course if you feel any uncertainty as clearing our fears away is like peeling away layers of an onion.

Make some quiet time for yourself and have a pad of paper and a pen or pencil ready so you can write what comes in when you finish listening to this lesson. You may want to repeat this lesson a few times before you become comfortable with tapping into your creative muse on demand.

In the superconsciousness, the past, present and the future co-exist. In the same way that we can instantly tap into past memories, we can also tune into future memories. Now this might just be active imagination but it is amazing how well it works. When we tap into the words we have yet to write, it saves a huge amount of time in the creative process.

There are many cautionary tales where someone is given three wishes to ask of a genie but they come somewhat unstuck. In this short lesson, I share some guidance on how to better ask a question in order to get a more meaningful and precise answer.

When we write, or create, in the trance state something remarkable happens. The words that we write, whether read or listened to, have the magical ability to entrance the person who is either reading or listening to them. If you listen to any of my meditations or courses, you will have already have experienced this phenomenon.

This is a bit of a bonus lesson to give you an example of writing, and composing, using the methods described in the previous lessons. The story is written, and the music composed, in trance and the words and music are both designed to entrance the listener.

It is also an example of oracular writing as you will not read this version of events in any book on cosmology.

It came from asking a direct question which was “How Exactly Did The Universe Begin?”. Then I sat in meditation with a quiet mind and the whole story flowed in. The music popped along in a later session and this is the first time I have merged both together.
