About Your Guide

With a background in Philosophy, a primary degree in Theology, and a masters in Mindfulness,Dee helps over busy, humans especially those who care for others professionally or in family. She works globally teaching individuals and groups to deepen their capacity to pause, to rest, and to prevent or recover from burnout, and so to blossom - to come home to calm and equanimity. Many years ago Dee herself experienced burnout as a committed, passionate professional, who understood little about real resilience and self care. Further exploration in Philosophy, Eastern and Western Wisdom Traditions, and New Cosmology, has informed Dee's evidence based perspective on the universe that offers a way to integrate scientific, spiritual, personal, and cultural viewpoints into a meaningful whole. In more recent years Dee completed an MSc in Mindfulness Based Interventions, & further specialist post graduate training in Spiritual Companioning, Wisdom Supervision & Trauma Informed Online Facilitation. Dee loves that IT allows us to experience the reality that 'we are all just walking each other home.' Each year Dee offers several live at online special retreats which people from around the globe enjoy from the comfort of their own home. Dee offers one to one spiritual companioning ( Anam Cara), supervision and coaching. She also has a dedicated community ( Blossom) for women who want to blossom away from burnout.

Burnout to Blossom: A Compassionate Path to Healing

Burnout to Blossom: A Compassionate Path to Healing

Burnout rarely happens overnight, and healing doesn't either.

Burnout is not a personal failure. It is often the understandable consequence of living too long in a world that asks us to live beyond our natural rhythms.

These three sessions come from a regular weekly session I deliver online. The intention of these talks is to provide a compassionate, science-informed exploration of burnout, helping you understand what chronic stress does to the brain, body, and nervous system, while gently guiding you towards restoration.

Drawing on neuroscience, mindfulness, self-compassion, and the wisdom of Celtic spirituality, each session combines practical teaching with guided meditation and simple everyday practices that support nervous system regulation and resilience.

Rather than asking you to push harder or become someone different, these sessions invite you to slow down, deepen awareness, and rediscover what truly nourishes you.

Whether you're already experiencing burnout, noticing the early signs, or simply longing for a more sustainable way of living, this series offers understanding, hope, and practical tools for the journey.

Together we explore how to:

  • understand burnout without self-blame
  • recognise the early signs of chronic stress
  • calm and regulate the nervous system
  • cultivate self-compassion and emotional resilience
  • invite more moments of restoration and flow into everyday life
  • reconnect with your own natural rhythm

Each session includes a guided meditation to help you move from survival mode towards greater calm, clarity, and wellbeing.

Held by the Earth: Three Celtic-Inspired Yoga Nidras for Deep Rest

Held by the Earth: Three Celtic-Inspired Yoga Nidras for Deep Rest

A collection of three deeply restorative Yoga Nidra practices, created as a balm for the over-busy human living through the demands of twenty-first-century life.

Inspired by Celtic spirituality and its enduring sense of kinship with the natural world, these practices invite you to rest into the ancient holding of earth, water and night. Each offers a different doorway into rest: returning to the Earth’s embrace, finding ease when sleep will not come, and replenishing a nervous system wearied by stress or overwhelm.

There is nothing to achieve and nowhere else you need to be. You are invited simply to lie down, listen and allow yourself to be held—softening back into the body, the rhythms of nature and the deeper belonging that has never left you.

Balm For Women In Burnout

We don’t wake up one day and have burnout like we might catch a cold . Burnout is a point on the wellbeing continuum from blossoming to burnout….there are many stages. Usually after we burn out we look back, and understand. Often when we are in chronic stress, overwhelm or burnout out impulse is to push through. When considering how to recover from burnout, it’s important to start with small thoughts and actions that are simple, easy, life-giving, and pleasurable. At this point of burnout, the nervous system has been stressed for a long time, which lends it to higher sensitivity to all of life, so less is more, even when considering meditation. This journey has been carefully curated to gently ease you into deeper awareness and then compassionate small steps away from ovewrhelm and burnout. With thanks to @gillianrule for the beautiful cover art .
